Three Apples Taksim Residence - Istanbul

If you want to have a wonderful dinner, try Sehzade Restaurant, situated close to the apartment. Okay prices were a delight. Characterful base for exploring istiklal street nearby.

The location is really close to suleymaniye mosque. The small balcony was a plus of the apartment. Very useful personal...

Very good value for the money. We stayed for 10 nights and our studio was very well furnished with all necessary for a long stay. Clean and comfortable. Staff of the hotel is really doing their best. Location is very good: just 5 minutes of Taksim Square. Although the street itself is ugly can seem dangerous, it is safe: many residents and children are always in the street and there are many little shops.

The room was convenient, bed comfortable, everything was working (air cond., hair dryer, kettle, etc.).

Neighbourhood is a bit shocking at first glance (like mixture of slums and normal houses), but it's quiet and rather safe - finally I was satisfied with my choice.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room without us asking and without charging for the bigger suite. The location is very convenient for Taksim shopping and a very short walk to public transport. It took less than half an hour to get to the old town by public transport (Metro/Funicular to Kabatas then tram to Sultahnamet). The rooms are very clean and furnished with new and comfortable furniture. Having a personal bathroom and well equipped kitchen in the suite is very convenient.

The nice and helpfull staff. The location might look not welcoming at first, but you soon find out that it is is very safe and very convenient as close to Taksim sq, coach service from the airport and public transport. Room was clean, comfortable and well equiped.good place to stay, highly recommended

The bed is too soft if you are used to hard matress . The reception is located in another building making it a little inconvenient

The pension is close to Taksim Square and airport coach terminus. As there are many bus routes passing Taksim, it is very convenient to go to other places in Istanbul. The staff is helpful in carrying our heavy luggage to 3rd floor when there is no elevator in the pension. The room is clean and comfort.

It is difficult to find the residence as there is no name plate or any signs outside the residence. You have to call the residence staff. Travelers from other countries may not carry cell phones.

Negative: You have to pay at showing up, without seeing the rooms, which are located few hundred meters away. They give you no receipt for your money. The reception is in Three Apples Suites, not Three Apples Residence, where is no sign, no reception and almost always nobody to help you. Rooms were not well cleaned. It's in normal neighbourhood. Toilet smells a little bit. Positive: 5 min from Taksim Square.

Close to Taksim and the room is very clean and neat.

Very clean and tidy. Dishwasher, 2 hobs, microwave, fridge freezer, satelite TV, and air conditioning. Good facilities and excellent price

It was not clear from booking that the reception was a short distance from the apartment and the reception was therefore difficult to find

The location near Taksum square was very good, close to shopping and transit. The room was very modern and clean, very nice apartment and great to have a kitchen available for our stay. Very large rooms and beautiful big bathroom. Ventured up to the terrace upstairs for a gorgeous view. Free wifi Internet worked great. We used the laundry facilities, brought our own soap.

The residences were very difficult to find, and we were not told to go to the 'suites' (which is a couple blocks away) to retrieve our keys. There is no sign, and even if you figure out what street you're on, there is no address on the door! The residences are renovated apartments in a residential part of town. The neighborhood is old and run down, with small alleys that are filled with stray cats and garbage. I did not feel un-safe at any time, but was asked by locals if I was lost. The residences were very new, and it felt like they had forgotten a couple things, such as dish towels or soap.

The room itself was comfortable and clean, it felt like home... Also it was close to Taksim.

The neighborhood was little creepy because of the streets looked like...very dirty and stinky. My window was overlooking the houses of the neighborhood - very ugly view, so we had to close the curtains most of the time...but it did not help us with the noise coming from those houses. The during the day there was construction work so it was and early morning first day we spoke up because of some strange noise coming from the houses…. I think it were hens (or something like that) screaming...also they need to freshen up the air in the entrance...

The Location and access to Taksim and Istiklal Cadessi is the best feature of Three Apples Residences. Rooms are clean, well kept and well equipped for short stays. Great Value-for-Money for the budget traveller.

Location can intimidate at fist as its surrounded by low cost housing, the walk to and from is a bit unnerving the first time. Hard for vehicles to get too. Language is an issue as apart from the reception person, which was 10 minutes away by walk, no one speaks English. Intercom did not work, was restored on our last day before departure, bit of a pain.

It was nice to stay in a real Turkish neighborhood, rooms where large, and the self-catering possibilities were great. It is a great place to stay for families and groups of friends.
